Begin with an approved product drawing

Ask the client or consultant for a drawing showing length, width, height, side details, chamfers, and any interlocking features. Curing and storage matter as much as pressing

A unit that looks sound when it leaves the mould may crack or lose corners because of rapid drying, early handling, or poor stacking. Define a curing program suited to the cement, aggregate, climate, and local requirements. Consult a concrete specialist or laboratory when establishing strength and durability tests.

After the required curing period, move units with equipment that protects their edges and organize them by product and batch. Do not use appearance alone to decide readiness, particularly when supplying a project with specified tests and acceptance criteria.

  • Complete corners and edges with no visible breakage or voids.

Important questions before buying equipment

When requesting a quotation for a machine or mould, send the product drawing and dimensions. Share planned daily products as a planning input, not as an unsupported output promise. Ask about mould compatibility, changeover steps, wear parts, power requirements, supporting equipment, training, and shipping.

Confirm whether the offer includes only the press or also the mixer, conveyors, hopper, electrical panels, and pallet carts. Curb-stone production needs a complete flow. A suitable mould is not enough when mixing, handling, or curing remains unplanned.
